16 Days of Action Against Domestic Violence
25th November 2020 – 10th December 2020
16 Days of Action Against Domestic Violence is aimed at businesses that lack an infrastructure to deal with the large-scale problem that is domestic violence. Companies are encouraged to do more to aid their employees who endure domestic violence, train those who witness it, and to protect staff as a whole, with the goal of securing safety and mitigating financial loss.
Time to Talk Day
4th February 2021
Time to Talk Day is the day that the nation is encouraged to talk about mental health. We’ll be looking at how Crime and the impact of it, can greatly affect the mental health of many victims.
International Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Day
6th February 2021
The impact of FGM on many victims is seldom openily discussed. The International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM is not a public holiday, but a day of international observation.
Safer Internet Day
9th February 2021
Encouraging and campaigning for a safer and more reliable internet. The campaign’s slogan, “Together for a better internet”, is a call to action for everyone to join together and play their part in creating a better internet for everyone; especially for younger users.
Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness Day
18th March 2021
Campaign to tackle child sexual exploitation. The aim is to highlight the issues surrounding Child Exploitation; encouraging everyone to think, spot and speak out against abuse and adopt a zero tolerance to adults developing inappropriate relationships with children or children exploiting and abusing their peers.
